Boathouse bungalow

Boathouse Bungalow reimagines the primary floor as an open, modern space complete with a generously sized kitchen. The goal was to incorporate bright, contemporary details while maintaining the original charm. This quaint Madison Park residence began its life as a floating home on Lake Union before it was transported and affixed to the ground. With a charming street presence, we designed a contemporary and bright interior along with a rear addition — a contrasting black metal volume peaking out from behind.
