Brazilian born Tininha Silva is a weaver with a background in swimwear design. After 13 years spent designing for the human body,with fluid fabrics Tininha discovered a hands-on response to her love for textiles through weaving. Living in the beautiful Victorian Seaport of Port Townsend Washington with her husband and two children, Tininha is surrounded by the sea and the inspiring community of coastal artists. Her approach is intuitive, exploring abstracted shapes of sea life, coral reefs, seaweed and anemones. The whole of her experience as designer expertly combines color, shape and texture in wall hangings that are both organic and sophisticated, and virtually exploding with life.
